About The Position

The Production Operator is a frontline member of Land O’Lakes, Inc.’s manufacturing team in its Purina Animal Nutrition business. The role supports production processes that add value and quality to raw materials and create finished products for customers. Work includes operating machinery and equipment and packaging finished products. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday, 10:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m., and pays $30 per hour plus a $1 shift differential.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• At least 1 year of work experience in any industry.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and follow verbal and written instructions in English.
• Willingness to learn new skills, solve problems, and troubleshoot.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, and a consistently respectful manner.

Nice To Haves

• At least 1 year of manufacturing work experience.
• Machine operation and/or forklift experience.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety processes and insist on safe practices by yourself and others.
• Arrive on time, complete tasks by deadlines, and adapt quickly to changes.
• Multitask and keep pace with production demands in a fast-paced environment.
• Follow quality standards and standard operating procedures during production.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Collaborate with Leads and Management and follow their instructions to complete daily work assignments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Operate machinery and equipment and package finished products.
