About The Position

Greif is a global performance-packaging company serving customers in 40 countries. The Production Operator operates routine production machinery to produce parts that meet established specifications and tolerances. The role includes measuring and inspecting finished parts, recording production, reporting errors, and performing basic equipment setup checks, adjustments, and maintenance. Operators are expected to follow safety regulations and maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area. This is a third-shift position scheduled Monday through Friday, 9:00 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. Pay starts at $19.50 per hour, with a $2 shift differential. The posted compensation range is $17.55–$28.03, and the position may be eligible for a short-term incentive. Requirements

Typically, a high school diploma or equivalent and up to 2 years of relevant experience.
Willingness to follow directions and work well in a team.
Ability to interpret and translate job specifications for production machinery.
Fundamental understanding of production equipment, or ability to learn it quickly.

Responsibilities

Operate routine production machinery according to provided prints and specifications.
Carry out production activities to meet required quantities and established specifications and tolerances.
Measure finished parts with precision tools and ensure they meet functional, quality, and cosmetic specifications.
Maintain logs and records of units produced.
Report errors that result in rejected or discarded pieces.
Inspect equipment before use to ensure proper setup and alignment; perform basic and routine adjustments and maintenance.
Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
Follow safety regulations.
Perform other duties as assigned.
