About The Position

The Production Operator is a front-line member of Land O’Lakes, Inc.’s manufacturing team in its Purina Animal Nutrition business. The role performs production processes that add value and quality to inputs and create finished products. Operators work with raw materials, operate machinery and equipment, and package final products for customers.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• At least 1 year of work experience in any industry.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and follow verbal and written instructions in English.
• Willingness to learn new skills, solve problems, and troubleshoot.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, and a consistently respectful manner.

Nice To Haves

• At least 1 year of manufacturing work experience.
• Machine operation and/or forklift experience.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety processes and insist on safe practices from others.
• Arrive on time, complete tasks by deadlines, and adapt quickly to changes.
• Multitask and keep pace with production demands in a fast-paced environment.
• Follow quality standards and standard operating procedures during production.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Collaborate with Leads and Management and follow their instructions to complete daily work assignments.
