As a Production Operator, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. You will support production by monitoring processes, ordering inputs, loading semi-finished materials, inspecting materials, and performing quality inspections to release product. You will operate automated production converting, assembly, and packaging equipment. You will monitor the process, order inputs, load semi-finished materials, inspect materials, and perform quality inspections to release product. You will operate equipment in a safe manner and follow plant and department safety rules and practices. You will work closely with other operators and service groups to optimize the process, including the timeliness of product flow. You will monitor equipment and make required adjustments to maintain quality and desired output. Computer use is required to run process operations. You will meet performance/output goals. Responsibilities of this position include that corporate policies, procedures, and security standards are complied with while performing assigned duties. Safety is a core value at 3M.
