About The Position

As a Production Operator on Land O’Lakes, Inc.’s manufacturing team, you will perform front-line production processes that add value and quality to raw materials and create high-quality finished products. The work includes operating machinery and equipment and packaging final products. This role is part of the Purina Animal Nutrition business, which serves producers and animal owners throughout the United States with nutritional products and practices intended to support animal health and productivity.

The position pays $24.50 per hour and offers a $500 hiring bonus after 30 days of employment and another $500 bonus after six months, for a total of $1,000 in bonuses. The schedule is a day shift from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Have at least one year of work experience in any industry.
• Have basic computer and math skills.
• Be able to read, write, comprehend, and follow verbal and written instructions in English.
• Be willing to learn new skills, problem-solve, and troubleshoot.
• Have strong collaboration and communication skills and consistently treat others respectfully.
• Be able to lift or carry up to 50 pounds.
• Perform frequent active movements, including walking, standing, bending or stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, and climbing.
• Perform duties while wearing personal protective equipment.
• Work for extended periods in cold and/or hot temperature zones and possibly in areas where dust and chemicals are present.
