Production Operator
About The Position
The Manufacturing Operator role is responsible for operating paint-making control systems and manufacturing equipment, including pumps, valves, filling machines, case packers, labelers, robotics, and forklifts. This role involves loading and unloading raw materials and finished goods, monitoring raw materials and finished products for quality and compliance with specifications, and maintaining production records, equipment logs, and inventory levels. The operator will also perform routine manufacturing tasks, minor equipment troubleshooting, and support production schedules by collaborating with other departments to meet customer demands. A key aspect of this role is maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment, and assisting with continuous improvement initiatives and operational efficiency projects.
Requirements
- Experience operating paint-making control systems and manufacturing equipment
- Ability to operate pumps, valves, filling machines, case packers, labelers, robotics, and forklifts
- Skill in loading and unloading raw materials and finished goods
- Capability to monitor raw materials and finished products for quality and compliance with specifications
- Proficiency in maintaining production records, equipment logs, and inventory levels
- Experience performing routine manufacturing tasks
- Ability to perform minor equipment troubleshooting
- Skill in supporting production schedules and collaborating with other departments
