About The Position

This position reports to the Production Supervisor and is an onsite role in Mebane, NC. The Production Operator will conduct all types of assembly work to produce semi-finished or final products/systems/panels, including packing where integrated with production lines. This involves reading and interpreting technical diagrams/instructions, performing work manually or using light hand tools, and operating machinery and equipment on the shop floor. The role also includes carrying out regular quality testing as part of a defined production process and operating within standard operating procedures while maintaining a clean work area.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum 1 year working in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Knowledge and use of tools – tape measure, calipers, grinders, or other hand tools, as needed.
• Ability to safely use a ladder while performing the job, as needed
• Ability to lift, push and pull up to 40lbs
• Candidate must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.

Responsibilities
