ELDS LV SWGR Team Leader 1st Shift
About The Position
This position reports to the Production Supervisor and is an onsite role in Mebane, NC. The Team Leader supports management in implementing staff movements to address vacations, illnesses, machine outages, and shifting production priorities. They provide regular feedback on production line performance, organization, and emerging critical issues, recommending improvements to enhance efficiency and responsiveness. The role reinforces team focus on achieving volume targets, maintaining high efficiency, and ensuring on-time delivery of products. The Team Leader assists in allocating resources, coordinating shift orders, and overseeing execution of work plans across production lines during assigned shifts. They also act as a shift leader to foster collaboration, resolve technical and quality issues, and address logistical challenges in real time.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Knowledge and use of tools – tape measure, calipers, grinders, or other hand tools, as needed.
- Ability to safely use a ladder while performing the job, as needed
- Ability to lift, push and pull up to 40lbs
- Candidate must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
Nice To Haves
- 5+ years working in a manufacturing environment preferred
