ELDS Production Operator Paint Line- 1st shift
About The Position
This position reports to the Production Supervisor. The work model for the role is Onsite, Mebane, NC. The role involves conducting all types of assembly work to produce semi-finished or final products/systems/panels, including packing where integrated with production lines. It requires reading and interpreting technical diagrams/instructions for assembly, performing work manually or using light hand tools, and utilizing machinery and equipment on the shop floor. The operator will also carry out regular quality testing as part of a defined production process and operate within standard operating procedures while maintaining a clean work area.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 1 year working in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Knowledge and use of tools – tape measure, calipers, grinders, or other hand tools, as needed.
- Ability to safely use a ladder while performing the job, as needed
- Ability to lift, push and pull up to 50lbs
- Candidate must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
Responsibilities
