About The Position

The Production Operator processes linen for assigned accounts, ensuring each item belongs to the account being handled and that mixed, dirty, or damaged linen is identified and put in the appropriate container before machine feeding or hand-folding. The role requires working at a fast pace while following safety procedures and meeting company performance expectations. Production Operators also communicate machinery issues to their leaders and help ensure equipment is working properly. The position is full-time and based in Fairburn, Georgia, with a night shift.

Requirements

• At least 3 months of related experience in a commercial laundry or hotel industry.
• Ability to understand, comprehend, and follow simple instructions, short correspondence, and product labeling.
• Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet performance goals and objectives.
• Ability to work both in a team environment and alone.
• Good oral and written communication skills in English.
• Good attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Feed sheets, duvets, bathrobes, pillowcases, towels, tablecloths, napkins, and mats into machinery.
• Maintain a clean and organized work station.
• Ensure linen being processed belongs to the assigned account.
• Identify damaged, dirty, or mixed linen and place it in the correct containers.
• Maintain an average production rate of 85% or above, as measured by the Spindle IT system.
• Remain logged into the Spindle IT system while working on the machine.
• Communicate machinery issues to leaders and help ensure machinery is working properly.
• Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
