Production Operator
About The Position
The Production Operator is a member of Land O’Lakes, Inc.’s manufacturing team, performing front-line production processes that add value and quality to inputs and produce final products. The role involves turning raw materials into finished products for customers, operating machinery and equipment, and packaging final products. It is part of the Omnium business, which manufactures crop protection, adjuvant, and plant nutrition products. The position pays $22.85 per hour and is scheduled for the first shift, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Weekends, overtime, and holidays may be required as needed.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older.
- At least 1 year of work experience in any industry.
- Basic computer and math skills.
- Ability to read, write, comprehend, and follow verbal and written instructions in English.
- Willingness to learn new skills, problem-solve, and troubleshoot.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, and a respectful approach.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to perform frequent active movements, including walking, standing, bending or stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, and climbing.
- Ability to perform duties while wearing personal protective equipment.
- Ability to work for extended periods in cold and/or hot temperature zones, potentially in areas where dust and chemicals are present.
Nice To Haves
- At least 1 year of manufacturing work experience.
- Machine operation and/or forklift experience.

- Arrive on time, complete tasks by deadlines, and adapt quickly to changes.
- Multitask and keep up with production demands in a fast-paced environment.
- Follow quality standards and standard operating procedures during production.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Collaborate with and follow instructions from Leads and Management to complete daily work assignments.
- Operate machinery and equipment and package final products.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
