About The Position

Hamilton Medical is seeking a Production Operator to assemble precision medical devices. The role requires accurate work, careful adherence to schematics and detailed instructions, excellent manual dexterity, and close attention to quality in a fast-paced production environment. Operators perform routine production duties and preventative maintenance, assemble equipment according to blueprints and schematics, and collaborate with support groups and fellow employees. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Personal protective equipment may be required and is provided by the employer. Drug and background screenings are required.

Requirements

• Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment while meeting quality and quantity quotas.
• Experience using diagrams or blueprints and following written or verbal instructions.
• Mechanical aptitude and good dexterity, including ability to use hand and power tools.
• Proven experience with safe production practices.
• Stable work history.
• Basic math skills for computing quantities and counting parts using simple addition and subtraction.
• Excellent manual dexterity and ability to work with small components and hand tools.
• Keen attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to read and follow detailed manufacturing instructions.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Technical certificate and/or completion of a LEAP or CTE program.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine production duties and preventative maintenance.
• Adhere to product quality standards and procedures.
• Assemble medical devices in a production environment.
• Interact effectively with support groups and fellow employees.
• Use hand tools, tweezers, and other light machinery.
• Assemble equipment correctly according to blueprints and schematics.
• Check finished products for quality and send unsatisfactory items to rework.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
