About The Position

ARAUCO is hiring Production Operators at its two Malvern plants: the Moulding plant and the MDF plant. The Moulding plant currently follows a Monday–Friday 5/8 schedule, rotating from day shift to swing shift to night shift every four weeks. The MDF plant currently operates 24/7 on a 3-on, 3-off schedule, rotating between day and night shifts every three-set. Schedules may change in the future to include additional days or different arrangements of hours. The role handles and grades material, wraps and bundles products, prepares millwork for shipment, keeps the work area clean, bands production units, monitors product and equipment quality and safety, and cuts runners and side boards to length. The work involves repetitive handling of material up to 18 feet long and weighing up to 50 pounds. Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role, including lifting 50 pounds, standing for long periods, and completing repetitive tasks.
Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Ability to problem solve and identify safety hazards.

Responsibilities

Handle, stack, and grade material up to 18 feet long and weighing up to 50 pounds repetitively.
Continuously wrap and sub-bundle material and stack millwork for shipment.
Clean the work area and surrounding areas.
Band units together at the end of each production run.
Monitor product quality, equipment, and safety, and work with a supervisor when issues arise.
Use a tape measure and miter saw to cut runners and side boards to the proper length for banding.
