About The Position

This role is responsible for understanding and following work instructions and control plans, performing quality checks, maintaining a clean work environment, and understanding process trends. The operator will also perform other departmental duties as directed by supervision and ensure adherence to safety protocols including PPE and lockouts. The position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, troubleshoot effectively, and demonstrate strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills. A strong work ethic, good attendance, and the ability to work independently are essential.

Requirements

  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
  • Ability to work 8-hour shifts M-F
  • Available to work days or nights and overtime
  • Ability to frequently lift up to 45 lbs.
  • Reliable transportation
  • Regular and predictable attendance
  • Work beyond the traditional 40 hours per week may be required as workload or projects dictate, including weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

  • Understand and follow work instructions and control plans
  • Assist with other key tasks during changeovers
  • Perform quality checks and input data into the Quality System
  • Maintain an organized and clean work environment (5S)
  • Understand trends on reliability and yield
  • Perform other departmental job duties when directed by supervision
  • Understand required PPE, location and purpose of all lockouts and e-stops
  • Work in a fast-paced environment keeping the process running
  • Troubleshoot effectively
