About The Position

Barnes Aerospace West Chester MRO division is seeking Production Operators. The ideal candidates are quick learners with attention to detail and strong analytical and problem-solving skills who thrive in a fast-paced environment. The role involves inspecting, measuring, processing, and adjusting parts to meet required standards.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in a production or shop position.
• Ability to use advanced math, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, and work with fractions, decimals, or percentages.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing, with personnel at all levels.
• Ability to follow complex instructions or directions; may need to decide on a course or sequence of action.
• Ability to schedule and organize time effectively to satisfactorily complete assigned work.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect parts for nicks, burrs, and flaws, and repair them if possible.
• Operate jigs, fixtures, gauges, calipers, micrometers, and height gauges to determine part dimensions and verify that parts meet required tolerances.
• Operate deburring guns, hand tools, and a grit blaster to process first-run and rework parts.
• Hand-adjust parts to make corrections.
