Requirements

A minimum of a High School diploma is required.
At least one (1) year of experience is required.
Availability to work overtime, various work schedules, which may include 1st, 2nd, 3rd shifts and 12-hour daily shifts, including weekends and holidays is required.
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds is required.

Nice To Haves

Basic knowledge of computer skills and the use of their applications (Microsoft Windows, MES, HMI, etc.) is preferred.

Responsibilities

Configure and operate automated, semi-automatic and/or manual equipment in accordance with the specifications of the process.
Verify products on the assembly line to confirm that they are correctly assembled and eliminate defective products.
Cleaning the work area to avoid contamination and / or mixing of products.
Execute basic preventive maintenance, responsible for basic equipment troubleshooting and general machine problem correction to minimize downtime, must notify supervisor of necessary equipment maintenance and/or repairs.
Product assembly according to the specifications and “GMP’s or “QS Regulation ”of the Area.
Prepare and complete the documentation of the different manufacturing steps as established by the specifications of the area.
Batch Reconciliation (“Batch”) and transfer of material to the appropriate areas.
In processes or departments where the Certified Operators system is implemented, the Associate will be responsible for inspecting and disposing of the product according to the Quality Assurance Plan.
Use personal protective equipment according to specifications, to perform the work in a safe manner.
Participate in process improvements of project activities as assigned. This may require; identification of areas of opportunity, revisions of specifications, participation in development activities, etc.
