Schedule: Production Operators work three or four 12 hour shifts each week, rotating from days (7am-7pm) to nights (7pm-7am) every 8 weeks. Pay: Earn up to $22.60/hour based on experience, plus a $1.00/hour shift differential for the rotating schedule.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum 1-year manufacturing related experience
  • Minimum 2-years consecutive employment with 1 employer
  • Ability to frequently lift 40 lbs (and up to 75 lbs occasionally)
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills essential
  • Must have a good command of the English language, both written and spoken
  • Must be able to read and interpret work documents
  • Must have the ability to work in teams
  • Must have the ability to perform basic math
  • Must have the ability to adapt to frequent changes
  • Must be able to read and interpret production related documents
  • Must be able to learn ERP system

Nice To Haves

  • Previous machine operation preferred (onsite training available)

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate Drylock Core Values: Safety, Respect, Ownership
  • Perform typical machine operations to produce product: to specification, using defined good run settings, meeting output, yield and OEE goals
  • Prep, load and set parameters for raw materials
  • Must be able to operate the following manufacturing processes: cutting (dies, knives), gluing, conveyor, vision, and packaging (case erectors, box sealers)
  • Splice material
  • Read, monitor, interact with and respond to machines using PLC/HMIs
  • Remove, install, and validate parts when doing equipment set up and changeovers
  • Use hand tools
  • Read and use a metric and standard tape measure
  • Follow all procedures
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area
  • Perform quality checks
  • Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition
  • Perform basic preventive maintenance on machines
  • Detect deviations from normal machine behavior
  • Troubleshoot to root cause when solving machine operations problems
  • Detect and report product defects and questionable conditions
  • Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
