About The Position

We are seeking a Junior Production Operator to join our Production Operations team. You will be responsible for operating injection molding machines and supporting daily production activities in line with safety, quality, and operational standards, which involves equipment operation, mold setup, material handling, and quality inspections. Your role plays a crucial part in ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing processes, which will positively impact production performance and product reliability. In this position, you will report to the Production Supervisor or Production Manager. This position is mainly located in our Sudbury manufacturing facility in Canada, with on-site presence required to support production operations and flexibility to work assigned shifts as needed.

  • You are flexible and willing to support changing production priorities and shift requirements.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in manufacturing or injection molding, and/or overhead crane, hoist, or forklift certification (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

  • Operate injection molding machines to safely and efficiently produce quality components.
  • Perform basic mold setup, assembly, and die setting according to work instructions and specifications.
  • Carry out daily Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) tasks to support reliable machine performance.
  • Conduct first-piece inspections and in-process quality checks to ensure products meet defined standards.
  • Read and follow technical drawings, job specifications, and standard operating procedures.
  • Handle materials and components responsibly, ensuring readiness and proper flow within production.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in line with 5S, LEAN, and safety requirements.
  • Collaborate with production, quality, and maintenance teams while supporting additional tasks as assigned.
