About The Position

Airgas is hiring a Production Operator I (Loader) in Grand Prairie, Texas. The role uses a forklift to move products, compressed gas cylinders, and other materials to load route delivery trucks. The operator sorts cylinders to ensure proper segregation, delivers empty cylinder pallets to the plant for filling, and loads and unloads delivery trucks.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, 12:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with overtime as needed. The position requires the ability to obtain a valid forklift operator’s license, regularly lift up to 60 pounds, and occasionally move up to 125 pounds with material-handling equipment. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship and be able to read and understand written and computer-generated documentation.

Requirements

• Ability to obtain a valid forklift operator’s license.
• Ability to regularly lift up to 60 pounds and occasionally move up to 125 pounds with the aid of material-handling equipment.
• Valid employment authorization in the U.S.; must not require visa sponsorship now or in the future.
• Ability to read and comprehend written and computer-generated documentation.

• At least 1 year of forklift experience preferred.
