About The Position

The Production Operator I performs tasks involved in packaging Tweddle Group owner’s literature kits. Work is performed in a team environment, and collaboration and adherence to Tweddle Group values are important. The role includes assembling, labeling, packing, and tracking production while following safe and efficient work practices.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Read work orders and perform work as directed by the department supervisor.
• Assemble and package owner’s literature kits by placing the correct components in the correct sequence into the indicated work-order package.
• Attach the correct labels to kits, totes, boxes, and pallets.
• Pack finished kits into the correct boxes, totes, and/or pallets.
• Track production on schedule boards.
• Notify the supervisor of quality or mechanical issues.
• Follow standard work methods and practice safe work habits to ensure production is safe, accurate, and efficient.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Perform other related duties and assignments as required.
