This position is responsible for daily operations of the production floor; ensuring the shift meets established safety, quality, and production goals in compliance with all applicable legal and food safety requirements. The role involves ensuring product adheres to Niagara’s standard of safety, quality, and throughput, accurately completing quality and production reports, and performing physical and visual inspections of product. The operator will report quality defects, adhere to safety programs, and follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Food Safety Standards. Maintaining general housekeeping, ensuring adequate raw material levels to minimize downtime, and troubleshooting minor production line issues are also key aspects of this role. Regular and predictable attendance is essential, and the ability to work 12-hour shifts on a rotating schedule is required.
