About The Position

This role is for an LTIAMD Transformation / Go Fast Capacity Lead, responsible for managing the operational aspects of the PAC-3 Go Fast Production team. Key duties include clearing production constraints, managing capital investments, and ensuring time-phased tech insertion to support manufacturing site capacity increases. The position also involves supporting the LTIAMD Production Operations team with strategic efforts to improve product affordability, throughput, and span across the business line.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in an associated discipline or equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Experience driving high-rate production in a complex manufacturing environment
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Ability to obtain a Secret level clearance
  • Demonstrated effective communication skills including verbal, listening, technical writing and presentations
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve technical/process issues varying from basic to very complex
  • Proficient in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
  • Ability to travel domestic and/or international
  • Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills, including team building, collaboration and developing enduring business relationships
  • MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in design for manufacturing or design to cost
  • Prior experience leading long term projects across large teams across multiple locations
  • Ability to interpret drawings, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, product/performance specifications and other systems integration technical data
  • Ability to effectively present technical information to non-technical people
  • Lean / Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification
  • Experience working with Government customers
  • Experience with LTIAMD production processes
  • Intimate knowledge of the Lockheed Martin SAP MRP production control system
  • Experience managing capital investment projects
  • Experience with Lockheed Martin manufacturing and assembly processes

Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to clear tooling production hurdles and enable on-time tooling and test set deliveries to manufacturing sites
  • Leading, motivating, and supporting cross-functional employees across Program Production teams
  • Driving strategy and execution on Make/Buy changes and other process improvement projects
  • Planning production integration and execution activities from capital, tooling, and test equipment requirements for current production rates and future proposal activities
  • Building effective relationships across multiple production sites to enable development of mutually benefiting strategies, seamless collaboration, and overall strengthening of the LTIAMD Production Operations team
  • Focusing on creating an environment that accepts risk, pushes the bounds of manufacturing, implements products that are designed for manufacturing, and creates a seamless transition experience for the production teams
  • Traveling to multiple production sites to support the development of mutually benefiting strategies and seamless collaboration
