About The Position

Sets up and operates automated finishing machinery used in the production of the company's products. The role is responsible for machinery operation, including feeding, folding, cutting, stitching, adjusting settings, making minor repairs, and pulling, inspecting, and packaging finished products. The schedule is Saturday through Monday and every other Tuesday, from 4:45 p.m. to 4:00 a.m.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Typically at least 2 years of relevant experience.
Substantial understanding of the job and ability to apply knowledge and skills across a wide range of tasks.
Ability to handle routine to moderately difficult assignments, making some decisions to resolve issues or recommendations.
Ability to work with little instruction on daily tasks and general instructions on newly introduced assignments.

Nice To Haves

Four years of fast-production machine experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Review the job schedule, locate the correct materials and tickets on the finishing floor, and review job specifications.
Set up assigned finishing machines by loading materials and selecting the required components and configurations.
Operate one or more finishing machines according to specifications to complete assigned jobs.
Check production samples against client specifications and quality checklists, and make adjustments or take action when needed.
Package finished products in cartons, boxes, or pallets and verify packaging against ticket instructions before routing products for shipment.
Record material usage, scrap, and production time, and enter job data into the Monarch database for cost tracking and client billing.
