About The Position

Profile Food Ingredients, part of Mantrose Group and RPM International Inc., is seeking a dependable, safety-focused Production Mixer for its manufacturing team in Elgin, Illinois. The role involves accurately weighing, blending, and mixing raw materials according to production formulas and schedules while meeting food safety, quality, and production standards. The position is full-time and offers a four-day workweek with 10-hour shifts. The compensation starts at $21 per hour, depending on experience. Benefits begin after eligibility requirements are met.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong reading, writing, and basic math skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds regularly.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Dependable attendance and willingness to work overtime when needed.

Nice To Haves

• Previous food manufacturing or production experience.
• Forklift certification or experience operating forklifts.
• Bilingual English/Spanish.
• Knowledge of SQF, GMP, OSHA, and food safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Accurately weigh, add, and blend raw materials according to formulas and production schedules.
• Operate mixers, conveyors, auto-fillers, metal detectors, and related production equipment.
• Ensure products meet Food Safety, SQF, QA, and customer requirements.
• Verify materials, formulas, labels, tools, and equipment are prepared before production starts.
• Inspect production areas for compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
• Maintain accurate production records and complete required documentation.
• Keep work areas clean and organized to promote a safe workplace.
• Report production, quality, safety, downtime, or equipment issues to supervisors.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and participate in team communications.
• Follow company safety policies and food safety programs.
