About The Position

Diversified Personnel Services (DPS) is recruiting a Production Material Handler for an established manufacturing operation in the Waukesha County area. The role supports manufacturing teams by keeping materials organized, equipment supplied, and production running smoothly. It is an active, hands-on position requiring movement between work areas and flexibility to support production needs, including occasional overtime.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in manufacturing, material handling, or warehouse operations.
• Solid forklift operating experience, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
• Confidence using computers and learning inventory management systems.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to keep track of multiple priorities.
• Basic math skills and ability to follow written work instructions.
• Dependable work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Ability to communicate effectively and adjust to changing production demands.
• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Ability to spend much of the shift on your feet, move between work areas, and lift materials weighing up to 60 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the movement and availability of materials throughout the manufacturing floor.
• Prepare materials and work areas for upcoming production runs.
• Monitor supplies and replenish materials to keep production on schedule.
• Assist with equipment preparation, material changes, and general production support.
• Use computerized systems to track inventory and maintain accurate records.
• Operate forklifts and other equipment to transport materials safely.
• Identify material shortages or discrepancies and communicate concerns to appropriate team members.
• Help maintain an organized, safe, and efficient manufacturing environment.
