Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license when required for assigned duties.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain forklift certification.
  • Ability to complete required facility safety, environmental, hazardous-material, APC, CPS, and equipment training.
  • Ability to complete respiratory-protection requirements when applicable.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor production, Carbon Processing System (CPS), and Air Pollution Control (APC) equipment, including conveyors, feed systems, scrubbers, pumps, fans, forklifts, and related machinery.
  • Load, transfer, process, stage, and verify materials according to established procedures, profiles, and processing instructions.
  • Monitor material flow and operating parameters, making authorized adjustments to maintain safe, efficient, and compliant operations.
  • Perform routine inspections of production, processing, and APC equipment to ensure proper functionality and identify abnormal conditions.
  • Detect and respond to issues such as blockages, leaks, spills, excessive vibration, pressure changes, equipment malfunctions, or alarm conditions.
  • Collect process and environmental samples, conduct quality checks, and accurately document results as required.
  • Complete production logs, inspection records, environmental documentation, shift reports, and other operational records accurately and on time.
  • Support basic preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, equipment cleaning, and maintenance activities while following lockout/tagout procedures.
  • Maintain environmental compliance by monitoring emissions, APC performance, waste handling, and promptly reporting spills, leaks, or other concerns.
  • Follow all safety procedures, wear required PPE, conduct equipment inspections, and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Communicate production status, equipment conditions, hazards, and operational concerns effectively with team members and leadership.
  • Demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, computer and documentation skills, and the ability to work independently while supporting team operations.
