Production Master Planner

Tri Tool, Inc.•Rancho Cordova, CA
•$40 - $55

About The Position

The Production Master Planner owns the master production schedule for Tri Tool’s portable machining equipment, including standard products built to stock, custom and engineered orders built to customer requirements, and field repair work. The role determines what will be built, when, and where, while aligning the shop, Purchasing, and Sales around a realistic plan. In a high-mix, low-volume environment where schedules change weekly, the planner anticipates issues, provides achievable customer ship dates, and helps prevent late orders. The planner maintains the master schedule in NetSuite, improves planning data for high-volume standard products, and leads a weekly production meeting with Operations, Purchasing, Engineering, Quality, and Sales. The role establishes and improves on-time delivery and schedule-adherence reporting, provides reliable lead times and ship dates to Sales, runs MRP and releases work orders, plans materials and capacity, publishes shop-floor priorities, and keeps planning parameters accurate. The position works closely with Operations leadership and has a meaningful role in decisions about production priorities and what ships.
