About The Position

Fenix Parts is a leading national recycler and reseller of automotive products with over 25 years of industry presence and 28 operational locations across the United States. As the organization experiences rapid growth, they are seeking skilled professionals. Production Managers are responsible for overseeing all aspects of dismantling operations and leading teams to achieve goals safely and efficiently. They monitor all production functions, ensuring adherence to company policies, and promote a culture of safety and environmental compliance. Production Managers operate effectively within administrative policies and procedures to foster a productive and sustainable work environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in automotive repair or parts dismantling within a production environment
• 3-5 years of management experience
• Proficient in basic computer skills, including relevant software applications
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safe operation of all phases of shop operations, prioritizing employee well-being and adherence to safety protocols.
• Supervise the initial vehicle inventory function, overseeing the quality and accuracy of parts entered into the inventory system.
• Schedule the workforce effectively to meet production requirements in a timely manner.
• Participate in the hiring, training, and management of personnel.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards within the facility.
• Prioritize the care and maintenance of all company facilities and equipment.
• Monitor and evaluate job performance, train and develop staff, and provide honest and timely feedback.
• Communicate and enforce company policies.
• Collaborate with the General Manager to identify opportunities for improvement and enhance operational efficiency.
