About The Position

As an Auto Parts team member at CarQuest, assist customers in finding the right auto parts and accessories for their vehicles. Provide excellent customer service, maintain inventory accuracy, and contribute to the store’s success by delivering quality auto parts solutions and building customer relationships. This role is in a fast-paced retail environment.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Basic knowledge of automotive systems and components.
Understanding of different types of auto parts and accessories.
Familiarity with inventory management practices.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment.
Basic computer skills for order processing and inventory management.
Attention to detail and accuracy when handling parts and orders.
Ability to lift and carry heavy auto parts and equipment.
Adaptability to learn about automotive parts and accessories.
Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to assist customers and team members.
Willingness to learn and grow in the automotive parts industry.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in automotive retail or customer service is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Help customers identify and locate the correct auto parts and accessories for their vehicles.
Recommend products and advise customers on parts compatibility and installation.
Process customer orders accurately and efficiently using computer systems.
Receive and stock incoming inventory, keeping shelves organized and stocked.
Maintain a clean and organized auto parts department.
Answer customer inquiries, address concerns, and resolve issues professionally.
Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and replenishment.
