About The Position

Fenix Parts is seeking a Production Manager for Gary's U-Pull-It used auto parts operation. The Production Manager oversees all aspects of dismantling operations and leads teams to achieve production goals safely and efficiently. The role monitors production functions, ensures compliance with company policies, and promotes a culture of safety and environmental compliance. The Production Manager works within administrative policies and procedures to support operational excellence and a productive, sustainable work environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in automotive repair or parts dismantling within a production environment.
• 3–5 years of management experience.
• Basic computer skills, including relevant software applications.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe operation of all phases of shop operations and adherence to safety protocols.
• Supervise initial vehicle inventory and ensure the quality and accuracy of parts entered into the inventory system.
• Schedule the workforce to meet production requirements in a timely manner.
• Participate in hiring, training, and management of personnel.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards within the facility.
• Care for and maintain company facilities and equipment.
• Monitor and evaluate job performance; train and develop staff; and provide timely, honest feedback.
• Communicate and enforce company policies, leading by example.
• Collaborate with the General Manager to identify improvement opportunities and solutions that enhance operational efficiency.
