About The Position

Piller Aimmco is looking for a Production Manager who can bring clarity, consistency, and strong leadership to a complex manufacturing operation. This is not a desk-only management role. We are looking for a leader who understands what is happening on the production floor, develops capable supervisors, removes barriers, and keeps teams focused on what matters most: safety, quality, delivery, people, and sustainable performance.

Requirements

  • Five or more years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience
  • Experience directly managing and developing supervisors or comparable leaders
  • Strong knowledge of production planning, labor and capacity management, safety compliance, quality systems, lean manufacturing, and structured problem-solving
  • A practical, data-driven approach to prioritization and decision-making
  • Strong coaching, communication, conflict-management, and cross-functional leadership skills
  • Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems, production reporting, and Microsoft Office
  • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field—or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in plastics injection molding
  • Experience in ISO 9001 environments
  • Experience with OEE-based improvement
  • Experience with Lean/Six Sigma practices

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop Production Supervisors across all shifts
  • Establish clear expectations and build a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement
  • Maintain strong visibility into production performance, staffing, equipment constraints, material status, quality trends, and operational risks
  • Oversee production schedules, labor deployment, throughput, and delivery performance
  • Use production data—including downtime, scrap, rework, labor, schedule attainment, and OEE—to identify priorities and guide decisions
  • Provide calm, decisive leadership during equipment failures, quality holds, staffing challenges, and other production disruptions
  • Strengthen standard work, operating routines, visual controls, and escalation processes
  • Partner with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, Supply Chain, Human Resources, and other teams to resolve issues and improve results
  • Drive meaningful improvement projects from clearly defined problem through sustained completion
  • Promote a safety- and quality-first environment where shortcuts and recurring problems are addressed—not accepted
