About The Position
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Project Manager to lead ERP implementation, manufacturing process improvements, factory restack initiatives, and operational excellence projects within our HVAC coil manufacturing facility. This role is intended to transition into a Production Manager position with responsibility for production operations, personnel leadership, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or related field.
- 5+ years of manufacturing, operations, project management, or production leadership experience.
- Strong project management, analytical, and communication skills.
- Experience with ERP systems and manufacturing operations. (Infor Syteline)
Responsibilities
- Lead ERP implementation and integration across manufacturing operations.
- Develop project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource requirements.
- Coordinate vendors, contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress and communicate status to leadership.
- Analyze and improve manufacturing processes.
- Lead Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop SOPs and process controls.
- Drive waste reduction and efficiency improvements.
- Lead factory restack and workflow optimization projects.
- Coordinate equipment relocations and installations.
- Improve safety, material flow, and capacity utilization.
- Progressively assume responsibility for daily production operations.
- Lead supervisors and production personnel.
- Monitor KPIs including safety, quality, delivery, efficiency, and scrap.
