About The Position

The Production Management Intern will gain real-world experience in the successful manufacturing of food products. This internship is designed to provide hands-on experience working on meaningful projects that support real business initiatives while developing the skills and confidence needed to launch a career. The program is 10-12 weeks long, starting in late May and ending in early August.

Requirements

  • Must graduate in August 2027, December 2027, or May 2028.
  • Major in Supply Chain, Operations, Business Administration, Agribusiness, Management, Industrial Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA preferred.
  • Applicants must not now, or at any time in the future, require employer sponsorship for a work visa.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older (all plant positions).
  • Must be open to relocation.

Responsibilities

  • Gain exposure to the job responsibilities of a full-time Team Leader.
  • Review production processes against the current Process Specification Summary.
  • Assist Team Leaders with information gathering to optimize performance.
  • Document job descriptions for key positions, identifying major accountabilities.
  • Assist with the supervision of a staff of approximately 15-30 employees.
  • Interns are usually in the production area “on-their-feet” about 80% of the shift.
