About The Position

The Production Maintenance Technician repairs and maintains all assets within the production facility. The role identifies, troubleshoots, and repairs problems with production equipment and processes.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent degree or certificate.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must become forklift certified within one month of hire.
• Ability to perform essential functions with little or no supervision.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays as directed by the business.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot equipment problems and make immediate repairs to production equipment between shifts and line changes to help prevent variations in product quality.
• Schedule and conduct preventive maintenance as assigned to prolong the useful life of equipment.
• Perform equipment changeovers and production line setups before production changes.
• Overhaul and install new equipment on machines as directed by the business.
• Rebuild and fabricate parts, and manage parts inventory to maintain adequate stock.
• Attend assigned meetings and assist with special projects and events.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
