About The Position

The Production Maintenance Technician repairs and maintains all assets within the production facility. The role identifies, troubleshoots, and repairs problems involving production equipment and processes. The schedule is Sunday through Tuesday and every other Wednesday, from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM. Overtime and weekends may be required based on business needs.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent degree or certificate.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must become forklift certified within one month of hire.
• Ability to perform essential functions with little or no supervision.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays as directed by the business.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot equipment problems and perform immediate repairs on production equipment between shifts and during line changes to prevent product-quality variations.
• Schedule and conduct preventive maintenance as assigned to prolong equipment life.
• Perform equipment changeovers and production line setups before production changes.
• Overhaul and install new equipment on machines as directed.
• Rebuild and fabricate parts, and manage parts inventory to maintain adequate stock.
• Attend assigned meetings and assist with special projects and events.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
