Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Associates Degree in related field, or appropriate background with related work experience.
  • 1-3 years related experience in an appropriate manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • Developed analytical skills and ability to problem solve in a logical, structured manner.
  • The ability to read and comprehend drawings and other technical information required to perform the assigned task work.

Responsibilities

  • Performing emergency and preventative maintenance tasks.
  • Applying technical skills and basic problem-solving techniques to address industrial equipment issues.
  • Performing plumbing tasks as part of maintenance duties.
  • Collaborating with service technicians to install and repair equipment.
  • Designing solutions for recurring challenges.
  • Assisting with projects that drive operational excellence.
  • Proactively address problems using the appropriate troubleshooting and repair techniques.
  • Troubleshoot manufacturing equipment, product or process problems and identify root cause.
  • Document repairs and the appropriate adjustments made in the Computer Maintenance Management System.
  • Help coordinate planned and unplanned activities with engineering, managers, contractors, and vendors to perform repairs and preventative maintenance activities for process equipment as needed.
  • Assess the equipment’s performance and repair history, and work with engineers to plan a preventative maintenance schedule, as well as work on equipment upgrades.
  • Calibrate equipment, cleanrooms, and controlled areas.
  • Purchase and maintain equipment components, spare parts, or repair supplies.
  • Assists with the training and performance building of other technicians.
  • Participate in continuous improvement/Kaizen activities.
  • Complete LOTO training.
