About The Position

The Production Machine Operator performs various tasks in the manufacturing of garage door springs. Opportunities are available in the spring commercial, conveyor, winding, coning, and stenciling departments. This is a second-shift position with a stated $1.50 shift differential. The target hourly pay range is $18.00–$21.00, depending on qualifications, experience, education, and other factors; a shift premium may be available depending on shift and location. Team members are paid weekly.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Proficiency in using hand and measurement tools.
• High level of attention to detail, organization, and follow-through skills.
• Dependability and willingness to learn.
• Ability to frequently lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate equipment.
• Quality-check springs and component parts.
• Perform cleanup, load and unload products, cut materials, and complete other general production duties as needed.
