About The Position

Avery Dennison Corporation is seeking a Production Machine Operator who is mechanically curious, takes ownership of their equipment, and thrives in a performance-driven environment. This role is located in the Greenfield industrial corridor, easily accessible from I-70. The position offers a high starting pay and a unique work-life balance with a 12-hour night shift on a 2-2-3 rotation, meaning you work only about 15 days a month and enjoy every other weekend as a 3-day weekend. Initial onboarding and training will occur on the Day Shift before transitioning to the permanent night rotation.

Requirements

High School Diploma/GED OR 3+ years of manufacturing experience.
Accountability: Take pride in your work and learn from every challenge.
Technical Aptitude: Enjoy understanding how machines work.
Adaptability: Ability to pivot quickly when production priorities shift.
Reliability: Dependable with a consistent attendance record.
Movement: May require the ability to stand/walk for up to 80% of your shift, with frequent pushing, pulling, bending, reaching, and squatting 50% of the time.
Lifting: May require the ability to lift up to 50 pounds 50% of your shift.
Environment: May require being comfortable working in an environment with varying temperatures.

Responsibilities

Perform set-ups, changeovers, and monitor equipment to meet production targets.
Identify root causes of malfunctions rather than applying "band-aid" fixes.
Use tape measures and tools to maintain close tolerances and "zero-defect" quality.
Prioritize a safety-first mindset and step in to help coworkers meet site goals.
