About The Position

The Production Operator I is an experienced operator who assists with production, quality, inventory, and packaging. The role operates injection molding machines and maintains production flow according to the work methods and standards established for the assigned area. The operator reports production, checks parts, assures the quality of parts produced, and assists with scrap recording. The position follows 5S procedures and safety standards and requires working knowledge of manufacturing safety, personal protective equipment (PPE), and packaging, as well as the ability to identify production issues.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Enthusiastic and self-starter.
• Excellent team player.
• Able to lift up to 35 pounds.
• Working knowledge of manufacturing safety, PPE, and packaging.
• Ability to identify production issues.

Nice To Haves

• Technical education in electrical or mechanical subjects at the junior college level.
• Knowledge of injection molding machines, quality, manufacturing, and 5S.
• Enthusiastic, hardworking, and a can-do attitude.
