About The Position

This role is responsible for guiding and directing a team of individual workers for daily manufacturing duties. The Production Line Supervisor will lead a team to achieve production objectives related to safety, productivity, yield, and shift efficiency. This includes assisting in the recruitment, training, and evaluation of team members, as well as organizing, planning, and monitoring team activities to meet production goals. The supervisor will also communicate important information regarding safety, quality, and management to the team, while actively soliciting ideas for improvements. Additionally, the role involves monitoring and controlling equipment to ensure it meets required specifications and output, and entering production data into ERP and manufacturing systems to generate reports on shift performance and yield. Other job duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Experience entering information into production database as well as ERP system.
• Must be able to read a ruler and understand fractions, and demonstrate basic math skills.
• Must be able to work well with others and in a diverse workforce environment.
• Forklift experience required.

• Technical degree or certification preferred.
