About The Position

This role is responsible for guiding and directing a team of individual workers for daily manufacturing duties. The Production Line Supervisor will lead a team to achieve production objectives related to safety, productivity, yield, and shift efficiency. This position also involves assisting in the recruitment, training, and evaluation of team members for performance, as well as organizing, planning, and monitoring team activities to meet production goals. The supervisor will communicate safety, quality, and management information to the team, and solicit ideas and suggestions for improvements. Additionally, the role requires monitoring and controlling equipment to meet specifications and output, and entering production data into ERP and manufacturing systems, producing reports on shift performance and yield.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Experience entering information into production database as well as ERP system.
  • Must be able to read a ruler and understand fractions, and demonstrate basic math skills.
  • Must be able to work well with others and in a diverse workforce environment.
  • Forklift experience required.

Nice To Haves

  • Technical degree or certification preferred.
