This specific role is located at Plant 37 in Hanover, PA, which manufactures 2-piece and 3-piece steel cans for the food industry. The plant has approximately 95 employees and is conveniently located near York, PA, Gettysburg, PA, and the Maryland border.
Requirements
- Manufacturing experience
- Able to work alternate work schedules including overtime, voluntary and mandatory, based on business needs
- Provides their own tools for this position.
Nice To Haves
- High School Education/GED
- Previous demonstrated industrial maintenance experience
- Knowledge of all OSHA related training in a manufacturing environment.
- 6S Training
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the mechanical performance of automated production machines and equipment.
- Make necessary adjustments, repairs, and/or changes to equipment and machines.
- Direct and assist in set up of equipment and changeovers.
- Use SPC and Process control to maintain production of quality products.
- Perform other job-related duties as required or assigned.
