About The Position

Ryder is hiring a Production Line Lead in Wilmer, Texas. The role supports production assembly line operations, including setup, operation, and reconciliation. The Lead ensures the correct customer product is on the line, trains line workers to assemble components and pack products according to documented work instructions and quality requirements, and checks that units and pallets are packed correctly. The position pays $22 per hour, consisting of $20 base pay plus a $2 weekend-shift premium. The schedule is Friday through Sunday, 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM. Warehouse positions are paid weekly, and paid training and safety gear are provided. Ryder describes its facilities as clean, organized, and well-run, with safety prioritized across shifts and roles.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to multitask and work within multiple systems at the same time.
Ability to react positively to change and handle additional tasks as required.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
Advanced proficiency, knowledge, and/or experience with production assembly lines.

Nice To Haves

One year or more of experience with simple mathematical calculations.
One year or more of experience operating a computer and hand-held scanner.
One year or more of previous experience as a team lead.
One year or more of previous production experience.
Bilingual ability.

Responsibilities

Set up, operate, and reconcile assigned production assembly lines.
