Production Line Lead
About The Position
Custom Filters Direct is seeking a reliable and motivated Production Line Lead to support daily operations within our manufacturing facility in Bloomsburg, PA. This is a hands-on lead position that reports directly to the Production Supervisor and focuses on supporting workflow, productivity, material flow, and day-to-day operations on the production floor. This role is designed to support a designated production line/team — not manage the entire production department. The ideal candidate will lead by example, help maintain organization and efficiency on the floor, and assist with keeping production running smoothly in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Requirements
- Manufacturing, warehouse, or production experience required
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Comfortable working on the production floor throughout the shift
Nice To Haves
- Previous production lead, line lead, or supervisory experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Support daily production activities on assigned production line
- Assist the Production Supervisor with workflow, organization, and production support
- Ensure materials are staged, organized, and available for production
- Help maintain productivity, efficiency, and accountability on the floor
- Assist with monitoring attendance, performance, and daily production goals
- Identify and communicate workflow or production issues quickly
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Support training and communication with team members
- Work alongside employees in a hands-on production environment
