Requirements

A High School Diploma, GED or equivalent is required.
One year of experience or more leading workplace teams.
Must be able to provide proof of authorization to work legally in the United States.
Must pass a urinalysis screening as part of the post-offer health assessment.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Basic computer skills for ERP system utilization.
Ability to communicate with employees at all levels of the plant.
Ability to obtain and maintain a valid forklift/Powered Industrial Truck license.

Responsibilities

Serve as a production or packaging line leader, supporting the Operations Supervisor by leading day-to-day activities associated with running production or packaging equipment.
Ensure routine regulatory checks are complete.
Maintain production data and properly record ingredient transactions in ERP.
Report to the Supervisor any conditions preventing the completion of duties.
Set-up and clean-up all equipment at the beginning and end of shifts.
Coordinate team job rotations and break schedules.
Communicate last-minute changes or expectations to employees.
Communicate labor shortages to supervisors and help develop solutions.
Follow FDA and Quality Control Regulations.
Immediately report equipment, ingredient, or employee relations issues to management.
Troubleshoot production issues and provide feedback and ideas for solutions.
Participate in writing OIF's, root cause problem solving, 5S improvements, and other lean activities.
Utilize ERP system for scanning and entering ingredient usage.
Complete required forms.
Perform Lock Out Tag Out responsibilities for safe operation.
