Production Line Lead - Bilingual
About The Position
IMC Outdoor Living, a subsidiary of Liberty Tire Recycling, is seeking an experienced Production Line Lead to oversee production line workers and conveyor systems. The role coordinates daily work, including break times and employee training, and helps ensure efficient production. The lead applies problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to address challenges and maintain expertise in production-line operations. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 5:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; Friday, 5:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.; and every other Saturday, 5:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Liberty Tire Recycling provides tire recycling services across the United States and Canada. The company transforms more than 210 million tires annually into raw materials for sustainable products, operates approximately 60 sites, and has nearly 4,000 employees.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of relevant production-line experience in an industrial setting.
- 2–3 years of prior leadership experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to communicate effectively with facility employees verbally and in writing.
- Knowledge of machinery and tools.
- Working knowledge and experience with a CMMS system.
- Ability to solve problems in a timely, professional manner.
- Understanding of OSHA regulations and implementation of safety regulations.
- Willingness to work hard; reliability, attentiveness, and attention to detail.
- Ability to stand and move around for long periods.
- Must be able to speak, read, and write in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of production line workers.
- Train and guide line workers on proper production techniques and safety procedures.

- Monitor workflow to ensure production schedules are met.
- Maintain production efficiency by troubleshooting and resolving production-line issues in coordination with maintenance.
- Monitor and control production costs while minimizing waste.
- Ensure products meet quality standards and specifications.
- Conduct regular production-line inspections and audits.
- Investigate and report accidents or incidents on the production line.
- Maintain accurate records of production output, labor hours, and material usage.
- Prepare and submit reports on production performance and issues encountered.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth production operations.
