About The Position

The Production Line Lead oversees daily operations of a production or packaging line, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency while leading a team on the floor. This is a hands-on role that involves working alongside employees, troubleshooting issues, and keeping production on track. The position is physically demanding and requires standing for long periods, up to 90% of the shift, lifting up to 50 lbs., and working in hot and cold environments. Candidates must be comfortable in a fast-paced environment with a flexible schedule, including overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• English required; Spanish is a plus.
• Flexible schedule, including overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Previous experience as a Line Lead or similar role in manufacturing.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable coaching and directing team members.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to stand for long periods, up to 90% of the shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in hot and cold environments.

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual ability, with Spanish as a plus.
• Food manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a production line team.
• Monitor production performance, quality, and safety.
• Set up lines and ensure proper operation throughout the shift.
• Troubleshoot issues and partner with maintenance when needed.
• Track production metrics such as output, waste, and downtime.
• Train and support employees, including cross-training team members.
• Identify and help improve workflow and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with safety, food safety, and company policies.
