About The Position

Join Intel as a WPM Production Line Coordinator Technician and contribute to building a better tomorrow. This role is based at our Rio Rancho manufacturing facility, which is Intel's Innovation Hub and plays a vital part in developing technology to improve lives globally. Intel is investing significantly in expanding and modernizing its Rio Rancho facilities, creating new jobs and reinforcing its commitment to corporate responsibility through its RISE strategy. The Production team operates 24x7 within wafer fabs, and the Production Line Coordinator (LineCo) is responsible for identifying and eliminating barriers to tactical execution. This position involves working a compressed work week with three consecutive 12-hour shifts, followed by a four-day work week every other week, on dayshift only (Shift 5 or Shift 7). This is a 2-year contract position with the potential for conversion to permanent employment based on performance and business needs.

Requirements

  • HS/GED and 5+ years related operations experience OR Associate of Arts or Science degree with 3+ years of operations experience OR 3+ years of military experience OR 2+ years' experience with wafer fabrication production systems.
  • Understanding of production systems and queue management.
  • Ability to analyze lot flow and tool performance data to make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in using factory tools such as FSUI, Redwing, and COS dashboards.
  • Clear communication and cross-functional area collaboration.
  • Written and verbal communication skills for effective passdown and coordination.
  • Interpersonal skills to engage with module teams and shift counterparts.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and track line limiters, adjust and monitor drumbeat, manage queue time loops, and coordinate tool and loop downtime in collaboration with modules.
  • Manage and optimize the production line by interpreting segment graphs and utilizing key features of multiple reports. Apply manufacturing concepts to monitor utilization and indicators to support velocity metrics.
  • Manage WIP by executing process lockouts, interpreting Lot Dispatch, and understanding key tools' run rules to manage wafer movement. Determine lot properties and attributes to address issues. Identify static WIP and escalate to factory stakeholders.
  • Understand and manage Critical Queue Time (CQT) loops to ensure quality expectations are met. Interpret CQT dashboard and reports, explain CQT start and end, and identify when QEF is required for CQT misses. Demonstrate knowledge of CQT loop control methods and identify module ownership for CQT execution and staging operations.
  • Identify segment loops and review loop release history to understand constraints and throttles for CQTs. Resolve throttles and escalate to correct key stakeholders.
  • Support operations to achieve effective Hot Box lot movement.
