Production Leads
About The Position
Pilgrim's is seeking Production Leads for 1st and 3rd Shifts. The pay ranges from $19.80 - $20.60 per hour, depending on the case-ready department, with an additional $2.00 per hour for the night shift differential. This role requires experience in case-ready department positions and a willingness to work all scheduled hours. Candidates must not have more than 3.5 attendance points (will be demoted if 3.5 is exceeded) and no disciplinary write-ups in the past 6 months. Bilingual skills are desired. The position involves assisting management in employee placement, assessment of controls, gathering information, maintaining quality standards, and maintaining good communication regarding production and written records. Additionally, Production Leads will assist employees by administering short breaks, maintaining the work area, and explaining company policy and procedures.
Requirements
- Experience in case ready department positions.
- Willing to work all hours scheduled.
- Must not have more than 3.5 attendance points (will be demoted if 3.5 is exceeded).
- No disciplinary write-ups in the past 6 months.
- Capable of performing simple math.
- Able to perform the following essential functions with or without accommodations: Have the employee read the job description. Explain and demonstrate skills of job to the employee, repeat as needed. Allow employee to try the new job. Make necessary corrections and allow the employee to try again. Repeat steps 1-4 till employee is comfortable.
