About The Position

At Pilgrim’s, Safety Is A Condition, which means the safety of our team members comes first - always. This role involves checking with the supervisor to ensure product is running on schedule, ensuring proper equipment setup and operation before startup, and completing all necessary reports. The Production Leadperson will enter all production numbers from the floor into SAP, verify QC and HACCP checks throughout the shift, and ensure the line has an adequate supply of correct packing supplies. They will also check metal detectors, ensure the line is fully staffed, replace absent partners, and train all new employees while monitoring their progress. This role performs other related duties as assigned to support production demands as may be specified by customer or client.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Computer experience is required.
  • Ability to physically perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
